Sadly, last night was the last "Uninstructed Figure Drawing Session" at Art First. I want to gratefully acknowledge those who became part of this wonderful family of artists and models, which was growing larger, each week. It was an honor getting to know each and every one of you. Without the participation, support and help of all who attended, it would never have been the success it became.

Thanks also, to some very special Art First members, who attended each week and who were so supportive. Thank you, Ed, Sally and Karen. My thanks also, to Sheryl, Leah and Kristi who helped me get this off the ground and promote it.

To our fantastic models for the evening, Mary and May, and to all of the models who inspired us week after week with their beautiful poses, thank you.

So keep drawing, all of you, and we'll we meet again soon.

Another wonderful night of Uninstructed Figure Drawing at Art First, and we had a great turnout! We had two perfect models, Andre and Ashley, who gave us great poses. Our thanks to them, for their hard work and dedication to the artists.

Artists, send me your images. I will post drawings as I receive them ...

We will have two clothed models, May and Mary, posing for us next Wednesday, July 21st. I hope to see you all there!

Thank you Linda, our model for the evening, for perfect poses and, once again, to all of the artists who came out to draw with us at Art First Gallery. It's always an invigorating evening with talented, wonderful people. Thank you all, for making it such a great time!

We welcome anyone who wants to spend an evening drawing with us in a relaxed, informal atmosphere while listening to great music. All skill levels are welcome, so bring your support board or easel, paper and pencils and arrive early.

Art First wishes to thank all of the talented artists who joined us last night for "Uninstructed Figure Drawing". Thanks also, to our two perfect models who sat for us. Mary and Imani inspired us with their beautiful, delicate poses. It was our first attempt with two models, in two separate rooms and was a resounding success. The models enjoyed it and the artists had room for broad strokes. We'll do that again!

The Session for the 30th

The "Uninstructed Figure Drawing" session for this Wednesday, June 30, will include 2 models. One will pose in the front of the gallery and one in the back. That will give artists plenty of viewing room and I'll rotate the models between rooms, so everyone will have a chance to draw both.

The models for this session will pose clothed (the doors will not be locked) and it is open to all ages. The session will start at 7:00 p.m., so come a little earlier to give yourself time to get set up. Bring your own easel or support board and drawing materials. No wet media or aerosols, please. Hope to see you there!

Does it get much better than this? K.C. wore her toe shoes for us and the only thing missing was the tutu. Another fabulous evening at Art First Gallery, spent with a wonderful group of artists and a great model.
